Carl has served as Pastor since May 2011. Prior to coming to Demopolis, he served as Pastor of Pine Hill Baptist Church in Pine Hill. He has also served churches in Hamilton and Vincent.

Carl was born and raised in Hamilton, Alabama, and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1997. He graduated from Samford University in 2001, and will soon graduate from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

He is married to Ashleigh, and they have three girls: Madeline, Marleigh and Meredith.

Carl spends most of his spare time with his family, and also enjoys reading, sports, sight-seeing, and playing both piano and guitar.
