The Children's Ministry at First Baptist serves preschool and children ages 3 years old through 6th grade. Our purpose is to partner with parents to help each child build a strong spiritual foundation through various ministry opportunities and activities. Our goal is to provide a ministry of Bible learning, missions, and activities for all children. All of these experiences help promote the purpose of leading children to know God's unconditional love and to choose to live like, and for, Jesus.

Children's Choirs (find out more about our choirs)Every Wednesday evening, from August through May, our children's choirs meet at 5:30 pm for rehearsal. We have choirs for children 3 years old through 6th grade, including:

• Angel Choir  -  3 & 4 year olds
• Melody Makers  -  K & 1st Grade
• Young Musicians  -  2nd through 6th Grade

Missions OrganizationsEach Wednesday evening, from August through May, and following our children's choirs, our missions groups meet at 6:15. Our missions organizations include ages 3 through 6th grade:

• Mission Friends  -  3 – 5 year olds
• GA's (Girls in Action)  -  1st – 6th Grade
• RA's (Royal Ambassadors)  -  1st – 6th Grade

Annual EventsIn addition to our weekly schedule and ministry activities, there are also some special, larger events that take place each year. In March/April, we hold our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Vacation Bible school takes place in the summer, typically in June. Our GA (girls) and RA (boys) participate in GA/RA Camp in July. Our fall schedule includes our Fall Festival in October and concludes with a Turkey Hunt in November.
